Parks:
The county places a priority on furnishing quality park facilities for the area. The city of Bowman manages three city parks, while Scranton and Rhame operate their own municipal parks with playground and picnic facilities.
The county oversees recreational facilities used for community functions and family entertainment year-round. These include the Bowman County fairgrounds, Spring Lake, Gascoyne Lake and Bowman-Haley Dam.
