BOWMAN COUNTY BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Do you have a great business idea?  Have you already started your business plan, but haven’t taken the next step to make your dream a reality?  Let’s make it happen!  Bowman County Development Corporation announces its first ever, Business Challenge.

The Business Challenge was created to spark new ideas, encourage entrepreneurs, and inspire current business expansions.  The challenge is open to all residents of Bowman County or anyone willing to relocate to Bowman County to open their own brick and mortar location. The application process is simple and helps make sure any new project has what it will take to get started. Completed applications are due July 21^st.

To help visualize possibilities and generate ideas, there will also be an On the Market tour of available spaces to purchase or rent for a new or expanding business.  Tickets will go on sale for the July 7^th event in early June.  Look for additional details to come.

A panel of judges will be established to review and narrow down applications of the Business Challenge to five finalists.  Each finalist will prepare a 10-15 minute presentation with a 10-minute question and answer to follow. The top three business pitches are eligible for awards.  First place will walk away with over $10,000 in prizes including monies towards their project, professional services and more.  For full eligibility and rules and to grab an application visit bowmannd.com/development/businesschallenge.
